Welcome to the Elite Academic Academy Counseling Department. As part of our proactive approach to your student’s educational needs, we are committed to meeting with each of our students to develop an individual academic plan. As part of our on-boarding process, our counseling department will work closely with your Elite Teacher of Record to ensure course placement and set up an appointment to meet with your student to discuss his/her future goals and aspirations. Our goal is to ensure that every student has a post-secondary plan that can carry out after he/she has graduated from Elite.

College Readiness

Students at Elite Academic Academy have access to an array of “A-G” approved curriculum that will prepare them to meet the admissions requirements for both the University of California and the California State University Systems.

This document from the UC System is a wonderful checklist broken down by grade level and semester for students to reference as they go through the college planning process–while it’s specific to UCs, it can be applied to most 4 year universities in terms of best practices for college preparation and planning.

Additionally, this short, student friendly video breaks down the whole process (and addresses changes due to Covid) including the process of transferring from a community college.

Do you want to be college-bound?

Elite Academic Academy offers a high-quality curriculum that meets the “A-G” requirements for college admissions. Did you know that nearly 3 billion dollars of scholarship and grant money goes unclaimed and unused each academic year? That’s a lot of money to leave on the table! Scholarships and grants are an extremely helpful way to pay for college and there are thousands of scholarships available. All it takes is a little bit of organization and research. The Scholarship Spreadsheet here is a great place to start! You can make a copy of the spreadsheet so you can customize it for yourself. It’s recommended to start researching scholarships as soon as you are in high school, with the plan to apply starting the summer of your junior year.

If you have any questions about scholarships or need more help, please reach out to me at [email protected]
