Summer High School Program


We are excited to announce the Peak Performance program is available at Elite Academic Academy (EAA), a free public charter school, during their credit recovery and acceleration learning period July 1- August 6th. This program focuses on the whole child; specifically the connection between mind, body and top athletic performance. Students who enroll in this state of the art program will:

  1. Improve mental strength on and off the field
  2. Participate in high-quality college recruiting-aligned benchmark testing to see where they rank athletically against his/her peers nationwide
  3. Learn Clear Pathways to College Scholarships

The EAA Peak Performance program believes in high-quality enrichment. Guest speakers, including college coaches, college recruiters, and professional athletes, will be present to guide and encourage students/families. Our exciting partnership with Whoop* will provide real-life tracking of the physical and overall health of the athletes to help them learn how to increase overall performance.

Course Introductions

Course Description: CTE Sport Psychology 1A, is an introductory course that provides students with general concepts like imagery, self-esteem, and emotion management and areas like human anatomy and physiology, that support psychology in sport performance. What students will take away from this class is a general understanding of what sport psychologists do in their field of work. Students will be able to understand and identify important psychological factors that promote physical performance and hinder sport performance. Additionally, students will learn general concepts of implementation of techniques that can strengthen athletic performance from various psychological perspectives. Students will also learn different career paths and payouts within this discipline. This class has a final project that will allow students to apply their learned skills and techniques from this class to a client (made-up) in which they are working within sport, that will either assist in performance anxiety, depression, or to better their athlete’s performance outcomes.

Grades 9–12

5 Elective Credits – 1 Semester Course

This interdisciplinary socio-emotional course offers an introduction to the student’s own psyche through the concepts of L.I.F.E (labor, influence, forgiveness, and experiences) or R.I.S.E. (responsibility, initiative, service, expectations). The Ambassadors of Compassion courses build emotional resilience, life skills, and character development while equipping students with the personal leadership skills to succeed through life’s inevitable challenges. Students will explore the definition and impact of positive and negative influences on human life, including their own. These classes help student athletes to identify and overcome various challenges they face in life. It equips students with tools to navigate and succeed through life’s inevitable challenges. As a result, students are more resilient which helps increase performance both on and off the field.

Morgan's Message Education Program support motivated students to become active leaders and advocates of student-athlete mental health on their campus and in their communities! Morgan's Message will disseminate important mental health education, facilitate discussions related to mental health topics, and highlight guest speakers and experts within the field to fight the stigma surrounding mental health. Our goal is to build community amongst student-athletes and ensure that every athlete knows they are not alone!
