Level Up Virtual Academy is the perfect space for students to join us for the first learning period of our year-round calendar to recover credits, accelerate credits  and discover new interests.. Students who enroll in Level Up Virtual Academy take two accelerated/credit recovery courses of A-G, NCAA-approved coursework on our Canvas online learning platform. Our 2024 Level Up Learning Period is July 1st – August 3rd. Elite Academic Academy is a non-profit, tuition-free public charter school that serves students in the following counties: Los Angeles, San Diego, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, Kern, Inyo, and Imperial.

We offer high-demand core classes, including all levels of high school English, science, and history, as well as both a traditional and integrated math track. For students looking to delve into world languages during the summer, we offer three years of Spanish and CTE American Sign Language. 

Level Up Virtual Academy students also have access to our deeply robust and innovative CTE courses. Whether students are considering a college and/or career pathway in Production Arts/Music, Social Media Marketing, Patient Care, Education, or Industrial Design, our diverse options of electives prepare students with pertinent job skills and certifications while feeding their passions.


We know that life is busy, so whether students are working, training on the athletic field, or on-the-go for summer, Level Up Virtual Academy offers the flexibility families need with the rigor and comprehensive support students deserve. 

Weekly live sessions are hosted for each course by our passionate, highly-qualified content teachers to provide academic guidance and support as students work independently through the course material. Daily virtual study halls are also available for students who have questions or need more frequent opportunities for teacher support.


As part of enrollment, Level Up Virtual Academy students receive both a curriculum and enrichment box filled with all of the materials they need to soar in their classes while finding time to stay active and be creative.

English 9- Choose Your Own Adventure

Choose your own adventure with our specialized English 9 pathways allowing for choice and voice while developing your English language competencies and building academic confidence. Wizard’s Quest, Around the World in 36 Days, and Slam Dunks & Aces – which will you choose?

CTE-American Sign Language

American Sign Language 1A provides an introduction to American Sign Language (ASL). The course provides guidance on how to communicate with ASL across a variety of basic subjects, including greetings and introductions, information sharing, personal characteristics, family, traveling, and living spaces. The course also explores details about Deaf culture, the history of ASL, and the general rules and concepts needed for communicating effectively through sign language, including fingerspelling and signing parameters.

Algebra 1

Algebra 1A explores the application of properties to simplify expressions with exponents and radicals, relationships between rational and irrational numbers, solving linear equations and inequalities, applying knowledge of linear equations and inequalities to solve and graph systems of linear equations and inequalities, applying operations on polynomials, factoring quadratic expressions, and solving quadratic equations using different methods.
