Our innovative programs transform reluctant writers into courageous storytellers… and published authors.
Storytelling will enhance any path your child chooses to take in life. The ability to comprehend and reflect one’s understanding of the world in a compelling and captivating manner allows for more meaningful connections with others, and a healthy perspective on the heroic role they must play in this world.
Written Out Loud brings together small groups of Storytellers (students) with passionate, qualified Story Directors (our instructors) to drive growth in writing skills, creativity, and confidence. Each Storyteller becomes a published author. This structure, based on the Hollywood writer’s room model, inverts three principles all too common in traditional educational models:
