Science of Sewing is a hands-on STEAM intensive where students discover that sewing is much more than fashion, it’s engineering, creativity, and problem-solving. We’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of machine sewing, then use the Engineering Design Process to design and construct a pair of shorts. As students build confidence, we’ll explore projects such as shirts, bodices, jackets, bags, pillows, pouches, and other functional creations. Along the way, we’ll investigate textile science, sustainable fabrics, plant dyes, thrift flips, and upcycling to better understand how thoughtful design can reduce waste and create a more sustainable future.

The Rising Eagles Drama Club is an exciting online experience for students in 4th–9th grade who are ready to step into the spotlight. Through fun acting games, improvisation, script reading, character creation, and creative challenges, students will build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and unleash their imagination. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or trying drama for the very first time, you’ll make new friends, discover your talents, and have a blast bringing stories to life!

The purpose of Anime Club is to provide a safe and inclusive space for students who enjoy anime or manga. Peak Performance Huddle empowers students in grades 6–12 by combining academic support, leadership development, character education, and athletic mentorship to help them succeed in school, sports, and life. Through interactive workshops, guest speakers, meaningful discussions, and virtual athletic tours, students gain valuable skills in goal setting, time management, college and career readiness, mental wellness, and personal growth. The Math 24 Club is a fun engaging club helping students strengthen their fact fluency, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills through the game Math 24. Students who enjoy puzzles, games, and mathematical challenges will love this club!

The Speech and Debate Club is a place for students who want to become more confident speakers, stronger critical thinkers, and effective leaders. Members learn how to research topics, build persuasive arguments, think quickly under pressure, and communicate their ideas with confidence and respect. Whether you’re interested in public speaking, debate, acting, law, politics, education, or simply becoming more comfortable speaking in front of others, this club offers a supportive environment to develop valuable life skills.
Students will have opportunities to participate in fun speaking activities, mock debates, speech competitions, and team-building exercises while improving communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn, challenge yourself, and have your voice heard.

Little Bakers Club is a fun, hands on club where young bakers will learn kitchen safety, practice following step by step directions, and build confidence while creating delicious recipes. Students will explore basic units of measurement, strengthen math and reading skills, and work together as a team throughout the baking process. At the end of each session, they’ll take home a tasty treat to share with their families along with the pride of what they created together.

Discover the joy of writing in the Power of Words Writing Club! Using fun Mystery Writing prompts, students will brainstorm, draft, edit, and publish creative stories and short essays while building strong writing and grammar skills. Rad Readers is a book club for all students! In our meetings we have discussions, games, and it is a great way to connect with other book lovers. Throughout the semester, the club will be reading a book and then discussing it in the Zoom meetings every 2 weeks. This club is student lead and teacher supported. We hope to host another Rad Reader field trip this year.
**Note: books are typically geared towards 3rd-5th graders. If you have a younger student then a family member can read the book with them so they can engage in the story.

The goal would be to connect with other Elite High School Students who have had the experience of taking classes at the community college. We would talk about our experience, share helpful tips and strategies, and offer Zoom study sessions for accountability. Being a high school student at a community college can also be scary or can cause some anxiety, so I have a community college counselor to an EAA high school counselor who is willing to provide general support and strategies from time to time.
