What grade levels do you serve?

Elite Academic Academy serves grades K-12, ages 5 – 18. Our Adult Education program serves grades 9-12th, ages 18 – 26.

How old does my child need to be to enter Kindergarten?

Students entering Kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year, must be five years old on or before September 1, 2018.

What is your Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Policy?

Students who turn five years old between September 2nd and December 2nd are eligible to enroll in our TK program. Students who turn five years of age on December 3rd or anytime during the current school year may be eligible to enroll in our TK program, pending specific conditions are met.

Students who complete the transitional kindergarten program shall be eligible to continue on to kindergarten the following school year.

A child who is kindergarten age-eligible may enroll in TK. The parent/guardian must sign the Kindergarten Continuance Form to have the child continue in kindergarten for one additional year at the time of enrollment in TK.

Are there any fees or tuition costs to enroll?

No, Elite Academic Academy is a public school, and is free to students.

What does the school calendar look like?

We offer multiple calendars which allow students to maximize their academic days.

How soon can I start?

Once all required enrollment documents are received and processed, you will receive a call from our Admission team to explain the next steps. Our first track starts July 2nd.

What documents are needed to enroll?

  • Birth certificate, passport or other evidence of birth date
  • Current immunization record
  • Proof of Residency (ex. utility bill, mortgage statement, signed rental agreement)

What should I expect at my first meeting with my Elite Educator?

You, your parent/guardian, and your teacher will discuss your individualized learning plan which will help you to reach your academic and post-high school goals. You will also receive your first assignments to get started on your education with Elite!

Pursuant to Education Code (EC) Section 47605(d)(4), charter schools are not allowed to discourage a pupil from enrolling or seeking to enroll in a charter school because the pupil exhibits any characteristics such as students with disabilities, academically low-achieving, English learners, neglected or delinquent, homeless, socially economically disadvantaged, foster youth, or based on nationality, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

Also pursuant to this new law, a parent, guardian, or student who is 18 years or older may file a Charter School Complaint Form to the Charter School’s authorizing entity if they suspect the charter school is in violation of Education Code (EC) Section 47605(d)(4).:

Thank you for your interest in enrolling in our program. Due to the fact our open enrollment window closed for the 19/20 school year, we may be at capacity with some of our programs. If interested in enrolling, please complete the following Interest Form located at the end of this message.

If there is an opening in your child’s grade level, a member of our Admissions Team will contact you to set up an enrollment meeting. If there are no openings, your child’s name will be added, in order of receipt, to our waitlist to process should an opening occur. For students enrolled in another school, please continue attendance at the school until we notify you of an opening for your child.

At the enrollment meeting appointment, the following documents will be collected for admissions:

  • Enrollment Application
  • Immunization Records
  • Proof of Residency

Additional documents may include:

  • High School transcripts (for High School students)
  • A copy of the student’s 504 or Individual Education Plan (IEP), if applicable.

Starting July 1st, the year-round calendar allows students to learn throughout the entire calendar year (205 school days), avoiding the summer slide of a traditional program and providing additional opportunities to pursue interests and passions through our elective offerings.

Program and enrichment

 

EEA utilizes the first learning period (July 1- August 8th) of the year-round calendar to support students in regaining lost credits, pursuing Career Technical fields, or just getting a head start on the school year. If you are interested in our Year-Round Program, please fill out the following short form indicating which program you are interested in for your student.  Next, our Admissions Team will send you an enrollment invitation link to our online registration portal.

Please be sure to log into the registration portal and complete the full application (Steps 1-4), along with uploading the required documents.  Once completed, you will be able to print out confirmation of enrollment, (Step 5).

Starting September 1st the traditional calendar allows students to follow a regular school schedule (175 school days)  with summers off! EAA provides high quality and rigorous standards-based virtual and traditional curriculum options.
